    Unhappy Winamp and Visor...can they be friends?

    This is a call to all programmers...please make a program (ala Busker and PalmAmp) that can take advantage of the USB port.

    As alot of people know, Handspring isn't making a serial cable and there is no way that my Visor will stay in the cradle while driving (without glue, tape or velcro). I already emailed the creator of Busker...he said he has no plans to implement that and he has no idea how to do it anyway. IronCreek, the makers of PalmAmp, never emailed me back.

    I know there are alot of you out there looking for a challenge (hell, check out the topic about those $30 LCD screens. 71 posts last I checked). So what the hell...make alot of Visor owners happy...and just feel good about yourself knowing that at least one person is using software that you wrote.

    Okay, that last paragraph was cheesy...but I'm desperate.

    Good luck. I was asking for the same thing only ported to wince (I have a cassiopeia) and got NO WHERE. The guy who wrote Busker did send me a message back basically saying the same thing (he does write some wince stuff on his web page) and I got no reply from palmamp/ironcreek. Thats too bad because I like the way the palmamp looks but if they can't bother to reply to simple questions I would have a hard time supporting the software via shareware if and when I ever get myself a cheap palmpilot to use in the car!

    ALRIGHT! I came across this site which has software to control winamp from a wince device! Whoo Hoo... Now I can use my cassiopeia to control winamp with touchscreen and all!
