    Talking Pioneer Aux Adapters

    Hi All,

This topic has probably already been mentioned but for those of us with Pioneer head units with IPBus, Pioneer do an Aux Adapter box with RCA to IPBus. There are 2 versions one with just RCA-IPBus and the other with IPBus thru.

RRP is $35 and $75 respectively (just had a quote in the UK for £70 for the $75 version.)

I have the DEH-P85 (the GM/Chrysler perfect fit unit). I did not find that Pioneer sold their adapters via their website, so I pulled out the old fashioned yellow pages, and found a local car audio dealer that could get it for me. I bought the CD-RB10 because I did not need the pass through. Also, the pic on Pioneer's site did not match the unit I received. It was simply a IP-Bus connector at the end of a cable with a small box at the other end with a pair of RCA jacks in it.
BTW my head unit allows me to label my AUX input, so of course, it now says "MP3" I have taken pics, if anyone would like to see them, I will be more than happy to e-mail them out.

Yeah, I broke down and picked up the phone too...it's been so long. I ended up having to purchase it from Pioneer directly. It ended up costing $81.75 with the S+H. And the pic on the site is of the CD-RB20, that's why your's doesn't look the same.

Even though this just seems to be me talking to myself....
www.soundgood.com has the AUX adapters for sale. Apparently they aren't charging S+H either, so you can get for $75.

Excellent resource! I compared their specials prices on a RF 360a2 amp with the same one from Crutchfield, and it was $100 cheaper.
