About 9 months ago when I started my MP3 car
project, I bought a 6.4gig Quantum "anti-shock" hard drive. Just last week, here in Southern California, the tempature reached below freezing one night. The next day, my drive wouldn't work. It now makes strange noises and I assume something froze and/or broke.

Just letting you all know for precautionary reasons. I also have a 13gig Quantum which still works just fine.
