    Pure Digital Amplifier

    http://www.muritzy.com/eng/product_digital_01.html

    Could provide for the ultimate in noiseless in-car audio! Direct digital feed from your SPDIF output on your EPIA!

    They appear to be made by a Korean company called TBK Electronics.

    Haven't managed to find a supplier yet, and they'll no doubt be expensive, but it's certainly a solution to the ground loop noise issue

    Car changed for TVR Griffith 500, so computer de-installed. Using a Dension 100ix w/60Gb HD unit in the interim.

    Other then the Digital input the specs are pretty poor I would use an ALpine pxa-510 or 710 and PPI amps. sure all digital would have that "Coolness Factor but those are not "Geek Worthy" yet need to double or triple the RMS power and add a Big SUb amp and I would give them a try.

    Just some information on the price:
    Thanks for your interest in our company and also product.

    Meantime we would like to inform you of our Digital Amplifier price as below;

    - MUZ550.6CH

    Price: USD 250.28 (FOB Korea),

    MOQ (Minimun Order Quantity) :300EA.

    Lead Time : 90 days for the first order and 45 days after 2nd order

    Payment : T/T in advance or irrevocable L/C at sight before 90 days for first order and 45 days after 2nd order

    This is whole sell price,that would make the shop price app US$ 1000 to 1200(unless someone would make a group buy of a few hundred units)or import them and sell them on ebay!

    Dang. That's pretty much what I was looking for.

    75 watts per channel is pretty good 250 watts for the sub can kick out some very very impressive bass. It just wont win any spl comps. I wonder if this a class AB/D hybrid? It didn't say...

    As cool as this is, the alpine surround sound processor is even cooler, I think. You can shape the audio however you want, built in crossovers, eq, and you can set it up for 5, not 4, channels.

    Are you sure about that markup? That's pretty steep! No wonder all the car stereo shops can afford to be so ****ty and still stay in business.

    Yes I am!!!
    I have bought quiet a few samples for "evaluation" Bought!no Asian firm ever give a free sample,quite rightly so, if you cannot afford to pay for a sample you cannot be a good company.
    When I see the shop price compared to the wholesale price,for the big supermarkets it is multiplied with 4 (unless they make a special offer to attract costumers and "sell at cost");the small specialty or mom-and-pop shops will sell for app 5 times wholesale-price;
    This is for France,how it is in US I cannot really say.
    You can try yourself,domain names are cheap,letterheads/faxes can be made in windows but do not forget the sample price is often 1.2 to 1.5 times the wholesale price,payment by bank transfer(fees)transport by carrier(not cheap)
    no return and if it brakes,repair it your self(to expensive to send it back)and the company might not exist any more

    Well MST I'm interested to see how these turn out! Please provide your input after you've done some testing!

    But the price isn't too different.. You can get the alpine processor for like 600... and 400... eh.... may be a little too small for a good amp budget, but you can get some good memphis products for that price.
