Should i just get a screen with inputs and outputs so i can use the screen to control the volume?just thought of that.. hehe
Hey guys.. have not posted in a while
i have an issue and dont quite know how to resolve it
ok this is my plan: I have and Xbox i plan on using as my CarPC for the time being.. my in dash cd player is going bye bye.. so here is the question..
lets say:
i have the Xbox plugged into a 4 channel amplifier ( to go to my speakers ) with and RCA output to my other amp for the subs, but how do i adjust the volume? the xbox does not have volume control that i am aware of and i really dont want to mod my Xbox too too muchany ideas? is there some sort of remote volume control module i can get.. or does the xbox have volume control and i just missed it? help would be greatly appreciated
Should i just get a screen with inputs and outputs so i can use the screen to control the volume?just thought of that.. hehe
Or try and extend (Mod) the amp's volume controll to a Pot(potentiometer) that is in easy each of you, the other idea is to attenuate the signal going to the amp, (through the RCA cables) but that could be difficult to controll... But there are plenty of ways to limit current in the analog world...![]()
explain more plz
The potentiometer what do i need, where do i get it, and how do i hook it up
im sortof new to this type stuff.. not care stereos just other electronics
Modify your xbox and dang, you're there. It's illegal tho.
