One choice is to wire it to the ignition +12V. Then it will turn on when the car is on. OR you could wire it to the +12V from the PSU in the puter. Then it would turn on when you turn the puter on.

i got it all wired up, using my ipod as a testing device since it too puts out stero sound, and i got music, but there was a LOT of interference when i started the car, obviously related to the engine. Is this because of poor grounding? i makeshift grounded it to the harness for the radio, since im not ready to do a full install. Th EQ has 2 grounds, source ground (brown wire) and (-) ground (black wire). it says to ground the source ground to the chassis of the radio. Will grounding it to the box of my C134 case help? Any ideas much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I believe the best ground in a car would be a sanded part of the chassis. Maybe someone else has .02 on this?
