    Where to connect extra fan?

    Hi guys!
Almost done with my ITX-carputer built in a nice box (you'll see )
I only have one problem, since I'd really want to keep the original ITX-fan on the heatsink and still use an extra fan 8x8cm on the top of the box to blow out hot-air... Is there any posibilty to connect it to the ITX M10000 N board or do I have to connect it to the Opus? (90W btw.)

If it's got a 3 pin "tail" on it, then there will be a header on the motherboard right next to where the CPU fan is plugged in

If it doesn't have a 3 pin tail, then you will need to connect it into your Opus

Yeah, almost any fan, but of course not one that draws too much current, otherwise it may blow the header Normally about 0.5A is the max current

It's best practice to always turn it off when plugging in/unplugging stuff...but i almost always plug in fans when it's turned on

If you do though, it's your fault if you break it :P
