Perfect reletively cheap carputer complete system

    http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merch...SystemSpecials
+ $29 for mini keyboard mouse combo

    http://www.digitalww.com/VGA_GA700YY_indash.htm
    http://www.digitalww.com/DWW-7VGA.htm

if you go with the 1st screen, system comes out to about $1300
if you go with the 2nd screen, system comes out to $1130

Either way, you have a great system with a DC PSU already and 256MBDDR and a 40GB 7200RPM HSS and a DVD/CDRW combo drive. Plus, you don't have to build it [not that there's any thing wrong with having a little fun with making your own case etc... ]

And of course, if you don't want an In-dash flip up screen, it comes out WAY cheaper!

    http://www.digitalww.com/VGA_TM_710VG.htmTotal= $942
    http://www.digitalww.com/VGA_TM_700VGA.htmTotal= $842

So, it's getting pretty cheap to have a carputer, YAY!!

    Peace out!

Check eWIZ.com. I just purchased the same thing, but a tad cheaper.

I was origionally going to go with the Casetronics C134 unit and the EPIA M10000; yet the onboard video drivers do not support a 16:9 (848X480) resolution. Some people seem to have got this to work, but many haven't. Hit or miss. So, this case worked out well. It is near 4 inches wider, but near same other demensions. The big thing about this case, vs. the C134 unit, is that it allows for ONE PCI card with riser for the back. Therefore, if I cant get the stock drivers to work, I can always put an ATI 9100 in there and be set. Yet, if I do get it to work (wishing), then I can put a WIFI card in and connect it to my home system while the car is parked in the garage.

    Makes for easy transfer!

I was looking to get a lilliput screen from the "ebay guy" who people have had luck with. I would have purchased from digitalww, but they are out of stock on items.

I would also recomend an ITPS unit for the system too. Go to the home page of MP3Car and look at products. There you will find the ITPS for around $38.00. It is a must have.
