Anyone have any response. I find that odd.

Hello All,
I need some help. I want add a monitor to my truck computer.
I have 6 laptop monitors
1. Torisan TFT-LCM TM121SV-02L03
2. Epson ECM-A9101-1
3. Sharp LM64C082
4. A Aple Power Book Screen (Havent Removed From Casing So Im Not Sure What It Is.)
5. One That Has No Info On It.
6. A IBM Laptop ( Havent Removed From Case So Im Not Sure What It Is.)
I Am Using THe Shuttle FV24 Mothe Board.
I have a 97 Toyota Tacoma Pick Up Truck. If I want To Put The Screen In My Dash And Make It Look Nice I Need A Monitor That Is No Bigger Than 7"x7" and all of mine are over 10.4". And all of the laptop monitors work. What I need to know is if there is anyone that would be willing to trade 2 screens that are 7"x7" for all of my laptop screens. Or point me to someone that sells a 7"x7" screen for a good price. I have done many searches snd have come up with nothing.
Also I need to know if anyone has seen a conector to hook up a laptop DVD drive via the IDE Bus on the FV24 motherboard. I have found the conector for the 44 pin to 40 Pin for the hard drive but can not find onr for the DVD drive. Please help me if yopu can. And so no one tells me to search the forum for my answers, I already have with no luck.
Thanks, XcuetippX
If anyone is interested in the screens I will pay the shipping

I will do that tonight. I will get back to you after 4:30 my time
I have a stack of Laptops with 640x480 LCDs, 256 color, that I would be willing to sell you. The viewable area couldn't be larger than 7x7.
Clarion 200watt head unit w/ Aux in.
Kicker 800watt 4 channel amp
In a 96 Grand Prix SE.
4.(This is a Sharp CTFT LQ94D041) I have the whole laptop its a Powerbook 540C. So I have all the parts, meaning the inverter and all the orginal conectors for the screen. The hard drive got fried in it, but everything else works.
6.This laptop is still in working condition so I kinda dont want to rip it apart.
Sorry I took so long been helping a friend move all day. OHH JOY
See in the dash of my truck I can only go as wide as 8.5x 9.5 max. So I fiqured that 7x7 would be the best so i had some area around it to atach to the dash. All the screens I have are well ove 8.5 inches wide.
If you have any ideas let me know.

I thought about that one and have seen them on ebay for as little as $50.00us. What my concern is the RCA conection. I would be limited to a low resiloution, and I would like to able to have a resiloution of 1024x768 if needed. Now on a screen that was 5.6 in size that would be small I know. But on a screen that was say 7x7 or 8x8 I think it would look nice.Originally posted by allenruble:

Please keep the ideas coming.
Pictures will be up soon.
Also, keep in mind that with just an NTSC input, text will be unreadable unless its at around 640x480 on a 12" or bigger screen, even then, its hard to read.
The only controller I've found for TFT LCD panels is the $200 one at earthlcd.com
I don't think you're gonna get 1024x768 in a 7" lcd.
640x480 probably, maybe 800x600.
also, screens have a 4:3 ratio, so they'd be 7x5.25" for example. You won't be able to find 7x7" square lcd's.
