    Another SMALL Motherboard...

I just ran across this and was wondering if anybody else has seen it or has info on it... it looks really cool, but the website is usual SE Asia crap with no useful information....

    Here is the link

    LexMainBoard SV823A

Also, don't forget to notice the On-Board DC-DC power converter... it looks like it runs for a wall brick.... Kinda of like the never available Via EPIA TC....

What are your thoughts? Any first hand knowledge of it?

Well kicker I am not sure what you are talking about, the link works fine for me.... and yeah... NO PRICES or useful information... that is what I was getting at with my comment about SE Asia websites... they suck....

I just can't understand these companies, they make some cool stuff (although many produce cool recycled junk) and then give no apparent way to purchase their products....

I think they need to add some marketing degree programs in Taiwain.....

But again the board looks cool....

Maybe somebody has some experience with them...

Looks like one of those computers used in security systems to monitor and record from a few video sources at the same time.

A lot of these SE Asian companies don't sell to end users, they intend on selling batches of units (hundreds to thousands of units) to middle-men who then mark up the price and then sell to end users. This way the manufacturer can concentrate on manufacturing and not on marketing and sales...

Not every company has the capacity to deal with end users, and some companies prefer not to deal with end users... It's like SiS, ALi and nVidia. You can't buy a product directly from them.
