SB audigy ide cable

does anyone know where i can get a longer cable for the contols that conect to the audigy sound card? or does anyone know were i can get the ribbon cable (40 wire) its self and ill make my own cable?

im not sure what you r talking about but for the 40 wire cable could you use a ide cable

It's just a standard cable (not the 80pin) used to connect your Cd-ROM drives and older HDs to your computer (motherboard). Local Fry's/best buy/compusa/whatever should have it.

the original cable that came with the audigy is not a normal ide cable. its 40 wire but the plugs are different. i really just need to find extra cable and i could make my own. but i was wanting to find one premade. preforably a round cable,

Oh well on my SB Live it is a standard IDE cable.
