LOL. Yes, I know. I mean it is more quiet than even a factory tape deck from the 60's would be.

I am running a 50w x 4 amp, and a 200w amp for the sub. I am going out from the PC into the RCA line level inputs on the amps. The gain is all the way up. I know the amps are fine because I was using them before I put the PC in the car.

    Any suggestions?

In other words, I can barely hear it. As in hardly audible.

I turn it up the same. In the house it blows my head off, in the car I can't hear it. Only thing I can think of is that home audio equipment takes lower level inputs than car audio equipment does.

    Does that sound right?

OK, this may be worth a shot. I'm sure you know this though.

Is your volume and wave volume both up? hehe Had to check.

I'll do some more thorough sound checks when I get home, including maybe disabling the smart 5.1 and just going through the line-out only. Just to see if it makes any difference.

Yes, the master volume is at about 75%, and the wave volume is all the way up. Thanks for the suggestion though.

What's do you mean going through the line-out only?

I mean to eliminate the variable that I am losing sound quality and volume from using the SMART 5.1 technology in my sound drivers, I'm going to try putting it back to stereo and just using right/left rather than fr/fl/rr/rl/center/sub.

    Just gonna experiment some more.
