I found a right angle adapter card that would work well in my car PC project but am unsure if it will work with my sound blaster live 5.1 card. The adapter is 32 bit and my friend says most PCI is 64? Anyone know if this will work for me?

Your friend is wrong. Although there are 64bit PCI slots they are usually only used in servers and such and wouldn't necessarily be found on a low end consumer motherboard. A 32bit riser card will work in a standard motherboard to the best of my knowledge but do more research then just taking my word for it. Maybe someone else can confirm what I'm saying...
