Post need a dummy monitor plug

How can I stop my Dell Optiplex (Pentium 100, onboard Sound Blaster Vibra 16 card, 8Mb ram, 2Gb hard disk, DOS and MPXPLAY) beeping when there is no monitor attached?

Want to use this to play my MP3s at home, without a monitor.

In theory I guess I could get a 15 pin monitor plug and solder two wires together, anyone know how to do this??

you just need to get 3 resistors and put them from red->redground,green->greenground,blue->blueground
I believe they're 25ohms but do a search to make sure.

With the Dell's you can't turn off the monitor check in the bios. I took a soldering iron to the speaker, that works as well!
And you say people actually pay money for M$ Windows?

Total re-design underway: on the whole progress is very slow as the car is taking up too much time :)
