    Post Pioneer DVD drivers

I have this Pioneer 106s DVD player right, it is a "bare drive" model so it came with nothing. After I got my system up and running I went to the Pioneet website to get the drivers. I downloaded the latest driver and burt it onto a disk. I put that disc in the new system and when I go into device manager to update driver it keeps telling me that the current driver c:\WINDOWS.000\INF\MSCDROM.INF is the best driver for the hardware.

With the current driver, am I going to be able to play DVD's

Also is there any DVD software that wont cost me $50.00?

There are no drivers needed with DVD drives. Make sure you have DMA mode enabled and DVD software and it will work fine.

    Email me about the software...
