    TV/FM Tuner W/ Epia M10k

I just purchased my tv/fm tuner for my epia m10k and im havin a lil problem. On the back of the tuner device itself there is a cable which goes into the mic in port. I am using a 4 channel setup. I am only getting sound on my front channel and nothing on my rear. Any ideas why this would be? Has anyone went stereo-less w/ an epia m10k and its sound card hooked up to an amp w/ fm? Every other audio app works fine except this one.

    Thats how i am setup

This problem only occures with the mic in pink jack on the back. Mp3 playback inside mediaengine is fine i get the 4 chan output, when i use the mic input tho i only get front channel no rear (or maybe its real low beyond what human ears can hear ? :P ) I have the volume jacked up all the way -- rear speakers seize to work.

umm... you're supposed to put it in the blue line in port, not the mic in port

What if i am doing 4 channel audio?

I am doing 4 Channel audio the blue is the "rear speakers" output. Is that the only way?

you can not use any of those ports as inputs if you have 5.1 enabled on the Epia's onboard soundcard. If you want to use the line in jack you must have 2 channel output selected in the sound properties

EDIT: oops... you're doing 4 channel... I believe it's the same... not sure though... in you Advanced Audio Properties, what do you have selected?

I have quadraphonic speakers selected. I am doing magic 5.1 enable on the rear. I can use the pink plug as an input however the sound input in that jack only plays to the front. I may try hacking up a cd in cable to achieve my desired results. Is there not an onboard audio connector as well? My mobo didnt come w/ any extra pieces for the onboard stuff.

I may use an extigy if these problems keep getting deeper. 2 questions w/ that though, does it require external power? And how does the cd player hook up to it? Its been one problem after another w/ the on board sound so far.
