Yea dude, you can get a 1/8th inch stereo mini plug to stereo RCA adapter from any electronics store, Fry's, or Radio Shack.
ok ,
I want to make myself a basic setup that I can experiment with and then later expand on.
so , I'm going to use my old box , P120 , 32MB of ram , I'll run linux on it , no biggie.
I also have a 4x40 LCD screen that uses the LPT1 port , all of that works. just fine.
now , here comes my problem , how do I hook it up to my car stereo ?
I currently have a Blaupunkt head unit with a aux input , I am pretty sure I will be using that one but how do I transfer the sound from pc to the aux input ?
do I need a sound card that has a audio output ? but any sound card has that , right ?
except that my aux in is a RCA type , and the sound out is usually the normal headphone jack , so do I need a sound card with a RCA sound output , or is there some cable that would just connect both aux in and sound out aka headphone jack ?
