minus from channel 1 and plus from channel 2, if you get no sound, try the other way around

Usually the manual will state which terminal on which channel. But I think most are use the - from channel 1 and the + from channel two.
I know my Hifonics is - from chn 1 and + from chn 2

your rca's plug in the normal way... left for left channel, right for right channel
connect the - of the sub to the - on channel 1 and the + of the sub to the + of channel 2
