    Hmm check this out....

Found this "Newcom Webpal w/ Wireless Keyboard" seems like a very barebones computer that is super slow. Figured i would just use the wireless keyboad but here are some specs:
    - Cirrus Logic CLPS7500FE Processor, an ARM Processor.
    - Infrared cordless keyboard, remote control and Smart card reader
    - 4MB of Simm Memory(Upgradeable to 32MB)
    - VGA connector(640x480)
    - SVideo Out
    - Video Out, Audio Out (Left and right channels)-RCA Jacks
    - Parallel Port (Great for printing out your emails or webpages)
    - PS/2 Mouse & Keyboard port

BEST PART IS IT IS 6 BUCKS

yeah i will trash the box and just use the keyboard and remote. The interface seems to be infared via the serial port. 6 bucks for a wireless keyboard is damn good if you ask me

dont think it matters mostly because "4MB of Simm Memory(Upgradeable to 32MB)" how in the world could/would you be able to run anything. There is alot of info out there about people running linux on these but i cannot imagine running any kind of decent audio through it.

    got this thing today....

keyboard is cool and model number is Sejin - SWK-8630 ( i think it is the same as this http://www.sejin.com/detail.asp?cate...=46&page_id=15 )
Remote looks like it would work well but will have to mess with it.

Doesnt look like i will be able to get any parts out of it. The IR reciever is mounted to the board and has 3 wires connected to it. I read somewhere that it was a serial interface but i have no clue how to get it to work.

I recall seeing an IR header on some motherboards, never messed with it though. I think it is 3 or 4 pins, that might be your answer.
