    Epia on-board sound at 100%

I have my onboard sound just set to using the one output on the back for stereo sound, but when i have my volume set to 100% the sound quality becomes bad, the low bass sounds become crackily and sound quality drops, i am running it through a fm mod, and i don't think its an fm mod because i tried running my laptop through it and the sound quality was gd at full volume.

Anybody else had or having this problem?

    Thanks
    Graeme

Just don't set it at 100%. Pretty much every soundcard I've known has issues if you max the settings, 95% is a good place to stop, after that I increase the speaker volumes.
