    the grey crap was the bondo yes? and what was the pink stuff?

    and what kind (brand) of primer/paint did you use?

    Nice work!

    Where did you get the DIN bracket? Did you glue an internal bracket from the Lilliput or is it custom made?

    the bondo is grey, and you mix in a red hardener. It's pink when you apply it, then it dries grey. I paited it w/ flat black vinyl paint, about 5 coats. The DIN bracket was a 2->1 din conversion made specifically for the Pilot. It had the hole and the tray.

    took me till like the second or third picture to realize that was a vice holding it. In one of the pics it looked like some kind of antique plug or something

    i'm looking into learning bondo work as well...had my first encounter tonight with a bondo fiberglass repair kit from walmart and a rusted through hole in my trunk...I want to eventually do alot of fiberglass work including...interior mods like yourself....exterior work for when i mold in my future body kit/shave antenna/etc....sub box enclosure....all custom dash...trunk....etc....what do you recommend for all of this work? such as __ oz fiberglass cloth or any other helpful information

    that's what that is ... the hardener i used this weekend was white. I also used the 'home solutions line' ... not the normal body filler ... dunno how different they are

    The board w/ the buttons goes in the back somewhere, and i remove the remote eye from the board and extend the wire out. Those buttons are not really needed anyway...
