    Question Which Shuttle XPC?

I'm trying to decide on a shuttle with a P4/Celeron chipset.
I want to keep costs low, so I am leaning towards one of:

    SS51G - (SiS651 chipset)
    SS56G - (SiS661 chipset)

    SB51G/SB52G - (Intel 845 chipset)

each have different onboard video chips. which would be a good pick?
obviously it won't be good enough to play any 3D games. but I would want it to be good enough for some WinAmp plugin or some sorta graphical stuff.

    shuttle website with specs

    thanks!

Might as well get like an ATI Radeon 9000 or 9200SE. You'll be unhappy with onboard graphics, trust me.

Sure trust the guy with less than 20 posts.... which of those cards are you running?

It is his money you are spending, unless you are going to ship one to him at no cost?

It depends what you want to use it for. No one is going to tell you the straght facts, it is up to you to do the research and decide on the correct parts. If you are unsure look for hardware reviews. Most of the replies around here (or any forum) are opinions.

I will see a thread of someone looking for hardware advice (such as yours) then a mass of replies either supporting or insulting the product in question. Both usually have good points. So you are no further along. You end up deciding on the most convincing persons "sell" of their opinion.

Stick to product reviewa, Benchmark tests mixed with your speced requirments and stay away from opinion.

If you asked for peoples opinion of a product that actually owned it then that would be different
