    well I tried to find the listed parts at my local radio shack, with no luck I proceeded to the web site but was unsure of exactly what I was looking for. Can someone provide part numbers for those adaptors please?

    It took me 10 seconds to find these items on radioshack.com...did you even try to look?

    Motorola -> BNC Adaptor

    BNC Female -> Coax Adapter

    yes I did look as I said above, but without knowing anything about a BNC connector I was a bit in the dark. Radioshacks descriptions leave a lot to be desired

    anybody else other than amrit got their TV cards to work with the car antenna? I thought you need a resistance of some kind in the antenna or is that covered in one of the bnc connectors?

    i don't know about TV working on a car antenna but i know that it will NOT work for 802.11

    if the antenna does work for TV then you could split the signal with a standard BNC splitter (look for old OLD coax ethernet parts)

    as long as there's no load on the side of the splitter that you're not using (i.e. the deck radio isn't trying to take a signal from the antenna at the same time as the TV tuner) you should be fine..

    also, make sure your grounds are coupled well. the deck radio should be on the same ground as your tv tuner / computer.

    good luck
