well i have been going through what i WANT (maybe not get ALLL of it now) ... but figured should at least get the mb now to support it.
and the deal is i need about 6-7 usb positions.
And so with an epia ... u get 1 pci slot. Well i am gonna need that slot for usb expansion. However ... to use a verizon wireless air card ... they are pcmcia ... so i am gonna need a pcmcia slot or a pci slot so i can get an adapter card for.
soo i pretty much have to get that board eh??

OOPs forgot, get a USB Wireless Network adapter, it will be cheaper than purchasing a PCMCIA to PCI card, and using the USB adapter will give you better signalOriginally Posted by jnusaira

I think verizon has a USB version of their aircard or some equivalence of it. That would save you from having to get a pcmcia adapter for your pc.
This might not be what you want, but i think it is.

"NationalAccess compatible handset + Mobile Office Kit + your laptop: The Mobile Office Kit enables you to connect your NationalAccess capable phone to your laptop for wireless connectivity. It comes complete with USB cable and software that automatically configures your computer."
The Epia CL 1000 Has 6 USB Ports and 2 RS-232 Ports You will lose your TV Out and your 6 Channel Sound
You could always get the USB data cable for your cell phone and connect to their express network that way. It would be alot cheaper than the $200 you are going to spend on their card and that's after the $100 mail in rebate they are offering right now. You can even get free internet (14.4 connection) but it uses your minutes when not on nights and weekends when it would be totally free. That can be added to any phone plan.
c`mon now guys!
USB to PCMCIA!!!
