    Epia Usb

    Hola

I noticed that the USB pins on the mobo is not compatible to some USB connectors I bought at a PC store. It seems the pins are too close together.

Is anybody else using these USB pins? Is there a special USB connector one should buy or am I doing something wrong?

Talking about original VIA EPIA (not -M modification), you need original USB raiser card from VIA. As you have realized, common USB cable from local store will not work.

I got a convertor cable from www.linitx.com but I can't seem to find it on their site now.

It has the mini connector used on the Epia800 and on the other end is a connector that the std usb case connector uses.

I have a spare (ordered a couple too many ) It has some sponge tape and a small female connector on the bottom and a full size 9 pin header on top with a filter capacitor and some surface mount stuff. PM Me if interested, ill let it go for what I paid for it.
