Wireless Video?

Is there any reason why a guy couldn't put a laptop in the trunk or under the seat of a vehicle and use a DC powered wireless video transmitter, such as:

to talk to an lcd screen on the dash?

It seems like running power to the LCD and the wireless transmitter/receiver would be easy and it would eliminate the additonal wiring needed to tie the LCD to the computer.

There is a cheaper way to get video from the back to the front. I've purchased 4 cameras from this guy on eBay, one of them was a wireless camera that I got for $30, shipping included. It was a camera with a built in wireless transmitter and it came with a receiver. It transmitted fine through two walls and 40 feet of my pizza restaurant, so it should make it from the trunk to the receiver 6 feet in front of it.

Yes, you're paying something like $28 shipping per item, but that's how he makes his money, especially when the camera is $.99. Do the math.

He doesnt have to pay ebay lots of money for posting items. Thats the way togo!

i wonder how clear that would be in the car with all the interference in there,.....maybe one could take it apart and adapt it to an video display that could be moveable throughout the car...kids in the backseat and all....
