Relocating headunit and extending faceplate somewhere else.

I did this for my friends setup. I used two Cat5 cables with couplers.

That's a cool way to do that! That must have been a pain in the @$$ because of how many wires you had to solder though. Good creative job though

yeah im gonna be doin it asap cause my headunit is in me glove box, and its a fair reach to push any buttons.

What kind of soldering iron did you use? DId you need to do anything more than just match up the pins?

I used a radio shack 15 watt grounded soldering iron.

I didn't do anything except verify the pins went to the correct spots.
