It's a Hitachi micro-hard drive in a CF format. Not exactly a Compact Flash Memory card (Meaning more current draw and all the mechanical flaw that a hard disk has).

It is still a good deal when you compare that currently the cheapest you buy the bare drive for in the USA is $480 .

Good luck finding the Muvo2 though, I have been on backordered on Amazon for a while and am also on Creative's will call list but nothing in the past two weeks.
