is there a place i can get any of these items cheaper, case? hdd? cd/dvd rom? anything else that im missing, do i need any adaptors for the slim drives or no?

Did you consider the MII-10000?
You may or may not want that, but doesn't hurt to think about it

You do need the adapter for the slim DVD drive.
Check the member onsale forum, you might find a cheaper deal there. Also, don't forget to save up money for the GPS.

P.s. what about keyboard/mouse?

whats the differenct between the MII-10000 and the m10000?? im guessing it a more updated and expensive version, hehe.

this first carpc im building is just to build and sell to make a little extra money. ill use the money i make off this pc to help pay for MY car pc i will build with the same specs later on.

im gonna go with the m10000 tho...

are the prices for the dvd and hdd good? can i get a better deal somewhere else? thanks guys

Don't forget a screen!!!

And you'll need adapters for both the slim CD and the 2.5" HDD.
Check out www.mini-itx.com's store. Definitely not the cheapest, but it's easy to find the adapters on there.

That completely depends on what OS. If you can avoid microsoft's latest bloatware, you can get away with less AND have a faster system. And if you are using hibernate, more ram will slow down that process significantly.
