I saw this at my local Walmart for $29.99.

Is it worth it? Anyone know if it is any good for car use?

    Thanks,

Works for me. I pretty much destroyed the onboard sound on my laptop and needed an easy replacement. Sound quality is better than my onboard chip and having RCA jacks instead of using an adapter is nice also.

So if you don't have room for another PCI card (or have a laptop) go with USB sound. :P

I got one too and it sounds better than any onboard sound i've ever heard,
but I bought it because of the RCA outputs which go straight in the AUX input of my deck without having to use an adapter.
