    I have a WinFast 2000XP, and a Hauppauge PVR-350.

The Hauppauge is much better, IMHO.

Neither gets very good FM reception though. The Hauppauge gets a little better reception, but I'm worried that it won't be good enough.

What if we use the hauppauge in combination with a good antenna. I imagine the stick care antennas are only of mid grade quality. How about if we use a high gain antenna or some pigtail action... Do you guys think that will make a difference? What is a good antenna for tv reception?

On my Leadtek, you use a patch cable to line in on the soundcard.

The Hauppauge doesn't need the patch cable. The sound is digital (wav).

more and more it seems like the hauppauge is the way to go. Digital sound would eliminate the ground noise issue people are having with the d-links radios. But just in general, people on the forum have been saying good things about the hauppauge. What can we do about a high gain antenna for fm? and then again for tv? can we use the same antenna, or are they supposed to have a different impedence?
