an internal slim dvd-rom would run just fine. Ive had one sitting under my passanger seat for a while and it never skipped or anything.
My trying to decide on what drive would be best... Im thinking of buying a standard IDE internal cdrw/dvd. But am worried about vibration or interuptions of any kind while the car is in motion. Would I be better off with an internal laptop drive or an external usb drive that are designed for portables...
Thanks

Mine needs to be updated.
Problem with that is that they are expensive and are difficult to mount into a dash...
Is there any reason why I couldnt use a standard cd-rw/dvd-rom?
