    Need an adapter of sorts.

Ok.. my HU is a Pioneer Deh-p6500. The Aux input on the back.. has like 9 prongs and look very propietary. Maybe for a cd changer or such. Where can I find one?

You can do what I did, and just find the right pins then hook your input straight up to the back, rather than buying a like $50 adapter. I have a pic somewhere of which pins they are, I'll see if I can find it.

Nice thing about the adapter is it is plug and play. Don't have to worry about ruining the h/u soldering connections and you can still use the cd changer later on if you wanted to.

I purchased the adapter from Pioneer. There is no soldering involved if you wanted to hack your own. you could use cd rom audio adapters to patchinto your ip-bus socket. I took apart the unit from pioneer when I got it to get the pin out. I'll have to see if I can find it and post it if you want to build your own cable

I didn't have to solder mine either. You know the connectors that like Power LEDs and Hard Drive LEDs use? Those fit perfectly. No soldering required. They haven't fallen out or anything either, and I've had it this way for over 3 years now.
