12v power supply for xm-pcu

does anyone know of, or know how to make a 12v power supply for the xm-pcr mod without using an inverter. i know little about power and wiring, but i know nothing about making this thing.

Well I may be completely missing something, but I don't think so... The XM-PCR is powered from the USB port, thus it is 5V not 12V.

So you won't need an additional power supply.... just plug into the USB and it turns on with the computer....
