Alternative USB soundcard

I was surfing and found this http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...126-001&depa=0

I searched the forum, but didn't see anything about it. A really cheap usb surround card, however it has SPDIF in and out, a line and a mic input. For 24 bucks can't hurt to try right? Just curious if anyone had seen this or heard anything about it.

so's the Sonica... it's pretty high quality as well... actually, most the sound cards under 100 bucks are 1.1... besides its 24 frickin dollars! what do you expect???

sometimes 1.1 is all ya need... I wouldn't even think about it if it wasn't for the optical in/out....
