Windows XP Problem with MII1000 board

I have reently purchased a MII1000 board, 256MB of RAM and a Western Digital 200GB IDE Hard drive. I have set it all up and tried installing Windows XP Home edition on it but without much success. I keep on getting the following Error message. STOP 0x0000007B (0xFA2FB63C, 0xC00000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). I have no idea what this means or how to rectify it. I have tried a google search but without much success. Any one got any ideas?

do you get a blue screen with those numbers and a bunch of other crap? If so then your problem is obvious.

Otherwise Id assume the cd is messed up. I just installed windows xp pro onto a MII just fine.
    Mine needs to be updated.

Andrew I had that exact problem when I tried to install my windows XP Pro SP1 on an M10000. I do not know if our error messages are the same but I do know it had nothing to do with my CD. First off it was a brand new cd and secondly I was also installing it on my home pc also with a brand new hard drive and the cd always worked.
To solve my problem I put the hard drive in my home pc and installed Win XP Pro an then put it back on the M10000 and installed the correct VIA drivers and my problem was solved.
Oh and a point to remember the computer will recognize a significant hardware change and prompt you to register Win XP Pro. You have 3 or 5 days instead of 30 so you should work fast and make sure everything works before registering your product, that is if you are going to do what I did. I have since bought another M10000 and it did not have that problem with the same cd and a different hard drive so I have not found out what is the problem but as long as it works fine I'm satisfied.

I assume you have another PC.
    Hope this helps you out.

PS. when installing on another pc do not use any extra pci cards so that you do not install drivers and take up space. If the mobo has onboard graphis and sound, use just that.
