Whats a good MoBo for games

I am in the process of buying parts for my carputer. I am about to buy a M10000 Nehemiah but I have read that it isn't good for graphical things like playing dvds and games? Is that true? If that isn't a good MoBo, what is a good one to buy, preferably mini-itx since I bought the case for it but let me know if I should get soemthing else?

If you're really into games, you should get a micro-atx MB that has an AGP slot.

Get any Nforce2 mobo's for okay built-in video/sound (acutally, the sound is pretty good on the nforce2/3, just make sure that it is the mcp-t version) They are pretty cheap, and youll be able to play pretty much any game out with decent performance. Or you can get one of those xpc's from shuttle, they are pretty small (only one pci slot, AND a agp slot) and they have been on the market for the last 4 years, and alot of people have been grabbing those. Also, if you look hard enough, you can acutally get a cpu/mobo with ALOT better performance that the mini-itx boards for the same price or cheaper.

Stay away from the Via processors. You won't be able to play games on those. Stick with the AMD and Intel processors. There are several websites that review hardware for computers. You might want to check them out. One that used to be popular was www.tomshardware.com but that was awhile ago so I don't know how popular it is or how good its considered. But it would at least give you a starting point.

Also what kind of games are we talking about. This may be a mute point depending on the type of games you want to play. LOL

Any game really but the more I think about it, I would probably play xbox mroe than a computer game.

So with that said, what would be a good MoNo to hook up xbox and play dvds? I have the morex case which can fit mini-itx and flex-atx MoBo. If at all possible, is there one that can fit my case if not then I guess I will have to get a new case.

    Another dead topic being revisited

I am also wanting to do gaming and what not and don't want lag in games, DVD's, or any app I run. I'm guessing the M10k Nehemiah core isn't for me? I do need m-itx size though. I guess I will have to go with this mobo:

The p4 itx mobo? This is $185. I would rather spend the 160 for the M10k and be done with it.

What does everybody think? For games, dvds, vids... do I need such a powerful mobo?

most people think hey are going to play a lot of games in their car, however, they never do. M10000 I have heard is good enough for DVD's and if it's not, get another video card.
