New P4 miniITX motherboard from FIC

    Hi,

I have some pictures of brand new PentiumIV miniITX motherboard form FIC based on i845 chipset as introduced on Cebit 04. This one is actually from my lab Small enough to be in your car and performing enough to satisfy your multimedia and gaming needs. So what do you say?

    Cheers,

    P.

    Question Fire wire

I read that board has a fire wire (IEEE1394) "option" does that mean it comes with a connector that you can use but don't have to? Or do you have to purchase an additional fire wire adapter for it? Thanks.

If your refering to the Commell LV671 you cant really compare the two because the LV671 uses the Pentium M and this FIC board uses Pentium IV. They are different chips. Pentium IV M is also a differnt chip.

Means you can actually buy motherboard with or without 1394 integrated. The sameapplies on TV out. As you can see, my sample does not support TV out but appearently PCB is ready for it.
