Best UK TV Tuner?

Right i've given up with this Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T USB piece of £%!%^. :mad: Which is useless unless u live within 5m of a transmitter (apparently digital freeview is far more picky with signal strength). I'd like some suggestions for TV tuners (with & without radio) which you've found to work well in the UK. Some support within in-car programs like mediacar e.t.c would be nice too.

EDIT: needs to be USB so i can use it with my laptop until i get an EPIA in the boot :)
