dont got mine up and running, but you might be able to hide a radiator in a place that gets airflow and do a completely fanless system. that'd be pretty cool, actually...

I have yet to install mine but plan to use the Car's Air conditioning to supply air to the computer (Maybe Montreal dos not get as hot as Australia but inside a totally enclosed car interior, it will reach in excess of 120 deg F).

I have severall outlets in my van, so that I can use one of them to cool the computer. I just have to make a duct to get the air to it.

Im in Australia, and for sure, on a hot day, it can get to 45 in-car, so im wondering how you guys deal with it.

Ive been thinking about it for a while, but i recon im going to use a seperate radiator/fan and utilise water cooling on the CPU and mobo. It seems to be the easiest way to get low CPU temps. Using a stock HSF would probly work, but on hot days i cant see it doing to well... plus depending on where the pc is, air-flow might be a problem. Another solution is to make custom venting and use bigger fans to blow air through... but anyway

Just wondering what the ppl use out there who have their pc's up and running.

Why Should I?,

FYI, air conditioning units are natural de-humidifiers. Have you ever notice the water dripping from a recently parked car on a hot day?

And what are your plans for when you turn on the heat in the winter?

Warming up frozen CPU

Like someone else mentioned, roast the computer on slow heat

My plans would be to remove the piping or interrupt the flow of air from that outlet manually in the winter.

Just a tought for a future project, have a thermostatic control a damper in the outlet according to the temperature in the area of the computer to cycle through cold and warm air. Got a future project that I'll have to look into.
