    Who has a Kenwood headunit?

I need help!!! I just got my KDC-7022 and it has aux input. I read the manual and it says that the aux input option will only show as a selection if i have something plugged in.

But the problem im having is: I have something plugged in and still no aux input option to select when i press the "source" button. I have the audio from my carPC go from a mini-jack plug to RCA and the RCA plugs into the headunit's aux input.

Can someone help me out and suggest me something to try? I cant seem to get this to work.

I have the Kenwood KDC-X659 & the setup shouldn't be too much different. In order for me to get my AUX input to show, I have to get into the setup menu & activate it. For me, that entails pressing & holding the pause button for about 5 seconds, then cycling through the options. I hope that helps a bit...

Bugster, I have the AUX input in my dorm room somewhere, I'll dig it out and see if I have any success getting it to show up. If it helps, I have a KDC-3022 and 4022.

AH HA!!!! I got it working! Sweet!

What the problem was, i had press the menu button, then use the "AM" and "FM" button to navigate through the options! Why cant the manual say that?!?! I kept pressing the next button before and it didnt do anything so i figured there was nothing to go through for some weird reason. Anyway, i got it working at least and now i have audio, sweetness!!!!

On mine I press the play/pause button to get into the menu and enable it.

Mine has an option to use the rear speakers for a different source, ie Aux up front FM in the back. I can't find a way to enable that on mine.
