    PDA as controller?

I was just wondering if anyone has messed with using a PDA or pocket pc to control their car computer? I dont mean having the PDA playing music, but just using its touchscreen to control your computer.

You can use your PDA as a ir remote, you can write apps for it to operate the carPC remotely via Bluetooth/802.11b/g, etc. But, that means having your PDA, it means you need to distract yourself from driving to look at the PDA's screen to determine where the buttons are since there's no tactile feedback, it means accidental presses when you're picking it up, etc.
