Would a SCSI drive boot faster?

Just got an old ASUS P2B-S mobo, which has some SCSI ports. I'm only going to be running a PII600, but would using a small (cheaper) SCSI drive for booting, and a 20GB IDE drive for storage be a good option?

SCSI (Depending on which SCSI it is) is usually faster. However what you have to keep in mind that each drive you add is a strain on your PSU. Make sure you get a PSU that can supply all of the devices.
