it's meant to be an engine start switch but i used it parallel with the ITPS switch to overide the ITPS just in case. cost me £17.00 roughly.

OMG those are hot! Expensive as all hell, but so gorgeous!

I just might have to get some of those... but I wonder if they're too bright? There's not much info there on how the LED and the switch are wired... maybe I can throw in a stronger resistor into the LED's circuit to reduce the light a bit?

If not, I'd import them. I'd get 3 or 4 of those just to mount them in a corner somewhere. Those'd get some mad "ooohs" and "aaaahs"...

go on the shop link i posted up there. go to the airconditioning section. that little box is a relay Pust to make switch. 2 i/o. the brightness, just wire up a resistor or potentiometer in line and adjust to your preferance, that's what i done. by the way you get the little relay box with ll of them

Now I'm looking for illuminated labels. Nothing so far. I suppose I could make my own with bi-color LEDs and small squares of plexiglass... but that'd mean a lot of cutting/sanding.. and not small or compact.

    Killer illuminated power switches

I've seen them as low as $13.

If you want to go really fancy and you're willing to put the money into it, you can get a small Quartz touch screen with a PLC. I'm using 2 for my door to repalce the window controls and locks. It's going to look really good. I've got them on order already, and when they arive I'll post pics of them. Someone from Nais Tsc is supposed to be coming to my house to show me how to program them!!! They're backlit with either green, blue, or red. They're slightly bulky, (at almost 1.5 inches deep) but they'd look good with some custom panneling.

By the way, you can put lables and/or icons on it... The visual programming interface looks like VB.
