I'm looking for an 802.11b or g USB adapter that has external antenna capabilities and works under netstumbler. My other option in figuring in is a USB to PCMCIA adapter and using an old Orinoco PC Card.
Anyone know of any?
I've seen those but unfortunately they don't support external antennas and netstumbler doesn't work well with the chipset linksys uses.Originally Posted by peterh

I am using the D-Link DWL-AG530. It supports a, b, and g. I have even gotten fair results with the included antenna. I am however still trying to find another external antenna with the MMCX connector on it. There are these 7db gain, omni directional, magnetic base ones on ebay for like $20. None of them have an MMCX connector though and you lose like 1db for every connection so I might end up with one of the 5.5db ones I have seen there.
Edit: Almost forgot, I have used it with netstumbler and it works fine.
