    Standalone cd-rom controller

    Hi there,

    I'm trying to build my own standalone mp3 player, but I'm kind of stuck with the standalone controller. I need a controller for a cdrom drive which has no connection at all with a computer.
    For those guys who don't know what I'm planning to make, it's something like the Mozart box on the hardware page of mp3car.com page. Why not buy it then, you probably ask ? It's a hobby !!!
    Please help me, I want to finish my prototype as soon as possible.

    Forgot to mentions that I'm looking for info on it. Want to make it myself not buy it in a store or so.
