    Molex 12v

Well today I measured my molex connections plugged in to my HD's (with my new digital multimete ), and found out that they are actually 12.4 Volts. This is while the drives were on (I tested by using the leads on the back of the molex. Is this normal? Thanks.

No, measuring molex connections is not normal...

Lol true. But, I was only wondering because I wanted to test my PW-70a on a car battery charger that outputs ~12.5 volts and 6 amps. I was wondering if it would be ok on my HD, but I guess sense thats normal, its not a problem.

Doh! of course! Don't take my word on it but they should be able to handle +- 10%
and I've read on here how some people don't use any regulation to their power supply without any problems...
