    disable memory scan at boot

    Does anyone know how to disable that memory scan when you boot a computer up? I have a M10000 and it has to scan through 512MB of ram and takes too long.

    yea...its weird...even though quick power on self test is selected it still goes through ram check...i just noticed this happening on my computer in the house like a month ago...

    ???

    Turn off quick power on and see how long it takes then I bet you'll stop complaining about how long quick one takes
