    4-bit LCD

I just bought a 4-bit LCD not realizing what it was. Does anyone have a schematic or code example for interfacing a 4-bit LCD to a parralell port?

    Check out this site:

The hardware side of it with the funky waveforms and busy flag testing is WAY above my head...

This guy already built a controller for his LCD:

Good luck. I bought my LCD with a controller on it cause I'd rather be programming than dripping solder on myself (I've done it, it hurts!

    Hey, this looks simple...

Double check that the pinout matches your LCD before you try it though.

Thanks for the info but i need code example or a schematic for a 4-bit lcd. I already had seen the 'How to control...' page and i cant figure out the stuff there...its mainly geared towards 8-bit displays anyways....
