    PLEASE HELP! Clarion Input....

I want to hook up my sound card to my clarion head unit. They say it only is compatible with CeNet devices, but has anyone heard of anything being able to be converted so I can just hook up RCA jacks to the back of it? Please help me!

    Thanks,

    Adam

    ME TOO!!!!

i hate "me too" responses, but i have the same issue...although i'm thinking about getting an equalizer with a preamp for $100 or so on ebay, and then just run the mp3box on the auxilary channel of the amp, which most of them have. look into that, it should work.

I emailed Clarion tech support, and they DO make an adapter for ceNet to access the aux channels... here's a paste from the email.

The easiest way would be to use our Ce-Net Aux Input Box. The part number is
EE-1155B-A and your local dealer can order one for you.

there you go....good luck, i'm on the phone with my local shop as I type, I hope it's not gonna be too pricey, but since it's Clarion I'm sure it will be

I just went to Best Buy the other day and was told there is an adaptor there that they are selling for $15.00!! A lot cheaper than that $90.00. I am going there tomorrow, they are supposed to have them in by then!

I will tell you all what happened tomorrow

oh my god...i hope that's not true because I already had my dealer order it...is the one at best buy made by clarion? if it's the same unit I'll just have to kill my dealer for overcharging so damn much...i'm sure if I show him a best buy receipt he'll have to take the price down. Thanks for the tip...

hmm it's 11:42 PM here...but I bet I can call a best buy on the west coast and find out about it

No, once again Best Buy proves to be full of jerks and idiots. The guy there only told me to come back on wednesday for it because he knew he would not be working. So once again I am without an adapter. Please tell me the luck you have with yours and the exact price you paid with tax and everything. I really want to find something, but no one around here will order!!!!
